The 5 Main Types Of Launches From Product Launch Formula

As I dig back into Product Launch Formula again, it’s obvious how much Jeff Walker has updated the training for his PLF 2019 launch.

With this in mind, it’s probably a good time to look at the 5 primary types of launches you can use over and over again, and when to use them based on where you are in your business right now.

First up, let’s take a look at:

The Seed Launch

The Seed Launch is great when you are just getting started with a new idea, and you want to create a product you KNOW your market wants to buy.

It’s also great if you have no list (or a small list), because it can help you build a list of buyers quickly. So basically it’s a way you can get your first list and your first product, and it’s also a great way to create a new product anytime.

You can learn more about the Seed Launch here.

Next up we have the bread and butter of Product Launch Formula:

The Internal Launch

The Internal Launch is where we see our classic Sideways Sales Letter, which consists of 3 pieces of Prelaunch Content, that lead into a sales video or sales letter.

The Internal Launch (learn more about the Internal Launch here) gives you the opportunity to create and test your Prelaunch Content in a relatively save environment (you are launching to your own prospects and customers), so you can prove your marketing in preparation for the next step, which is:

The Joint Venture (JV) Launch

Once you’ve completed your Internal launch, hardened your systems, and proven your sales process converts, it’s time to bring in affiliates to drive traffic to your Prelaunch Content and run your Joint Venture Launch.

The JV Launch is like pouring fuel on a fire, because you can grow your email list super fast, and generate a bunch of sales quickly. For many marketers, the list-build is the most valuable part of a JV Launch, because you generate a bunch of new leads and paying customers who you can sell to over and over again in the future.

You can learn more about The JV Launch here.

Then we have:

The Quick Launch

The Quick Launch is a way to generate a bunch of sales and cash quickly based around an event or a deadline. It’s quick, simple and very easy.

You just have to have an offer for a product or service, and an email list to promote to

It’s very different to a Seed Launch or Internal Launch because it’s email only (no Prelaunch Content required) is story based, and you make money quick and easy, usually in just 3 to 5 days.

You can learn more about the Quick Launch here.

And finally, there’s:

The Evergreen Launch

Once you’ve proven your marketing funnel converts using an Internal Launch (or a JV Launch), you can take all of that content and set it up as a recurring sales system, so when people join your email list, they go through their own personal version of your launch

Having an Evergreen Launch makes your cashflow consistent because people are going through it consistently based on when they join their list.

These work very well with paid traffic, so they are a great way to build your list and generate sales consistently over time.

You can learn more about the Evergreen Launch here.

So there you have the five PRIMARY types of launches taught in Product Launch Formula. Jeff has kept adding new versions of these, but these 5 are your bread and butter when using his PLF system.

Each type of launch will suit you at different times, and the one you use first will depend on where you are right now in your business.

Personally I’m considering creating my new course using a Seed Launch first, because it will give me a product I know people in the market want and are ready to buy.

If you can see the benefits of having a portfolio of launch strategies you can dig into at any time to generate more sales, then check out Jeff Walker’s free Product Launch Masterclass here.

Here’s How The Sideways Sales Letter Powers Product Launch Formula

Now that Jeff Walker’s Product Launch Formula 2019 launch is over, it’s time for all of us students to get to work on creating our own launch. Over the next few posts as I go through the PLF training once again, I’ll be sharing my thoughts and the lessons I learn (or re-learn) along the way as I prepare to launch a new training program.

So, let’s get started…

How The Sideways Sales Letter Came To Be

For decades, one of the best ways to sell stuff to a mass audience, both in print and online, has been by using a sales letter. Now the typical sales letter uses the Problem, Agitate, Solve framework, which works pretty well as a way of helping people realise they have a problem, and explaining how a product or service can solve that problem for them.

The problem with sales letters (or sales videos) is that they don’t create a lot of value for the people reading them, and therefore they aren’t all that efficient. Typical conversions for sales letters or videos are between zero and 2%, which means there’s a lot of money left on the table

That’s why Jeff Walker came up with what he calls the Sideways Sales Letter.

Now some people looking at a launch sequence without the benefit of owning Product Launch Formula still think you can just take any old sales letter or sales video, split it into 3 pieces, and deliver it as content.

But the problem with this is there’s still not a lot of value created, and it relies on the Problem Agitate Solve framework which still doesn’t work all that well.

The Sideways Sales Letter is completely different in that it teaches, inspires, and sells over a period of time, using what Jeff calls Pre-launch Content (PLC). And he typically uses 4 videos for the content of his Sideways Sales Letters.

How To Structure Your Pre-launch Content

So how should this Pre-launch Content be structured, and what should you cover in your pre-launch videos (or posts, emails, podcasts or other content). Here’s how I’m going to be doing it for my next launch…

The working title of my new product is currently Digital Message Secrets, and it will show business owners and managers how to use email and text messages in unique ways to sell a lot more of their products and services with very little effort.

PLC #1 – The Opportunity

I’ll be using video for my Pre-launch Content, and my first PLC video will look at the opportunity my audience has once they understand the power of using highly personalised email and text messages to build relationships, and then promote their products and services to (and through) those people.

At this point in any product launch, most people will not be aware there is a going to be a product for sale, but I’ll be doing what Jeff and others do, and subtly ‘hinting’ that the videos they are watching are part of an upcoming launch of a new product.

The goal with this first video is to start to develop trust with your audience by sharing content that is outstanding and truly helps them to achieve a result. As Frank kern says, you want to help them by actually helping them!

Who knew that would actually work LOL?

In your first piece of PLC, you’ll want to do what I’ll be doing and teaching your people how to solve the biggest problem you KNOW they face. Throughout your training, you should sprinkle in mental triggers such as:

  • Authority (show how you know your stuff)
  • Likability (just being a nice person)
  • Social proof (reviews, testimonials, comments from others)
  • Anticipation (tell what’s coming next)
  • Proof (testimonials, screen shots of results)
  • Interaction and Conversation (have Facebook comments installed and invite people to comment below your PLC)

My audience’s biggest problem is generating very targeted leads in a cost effective way. The solution I’ll be sharing with them is a simple way they can re-purpose and re-activate many of the leads they have already generated, instead of trying to attract more new people.

I’ve spoken about this with dozens of people, and when I ask them if they ever have leads or prospects who fall through the cracks and don’t end up buying, they always say ‘YES”. So my first video will show them how to get a good percentage of those people back into the business, and then get some of them to become repeat customers or clients.

Then after I’ve helped them solve what is their biggest problem, I’m going to highlight another problem they are facing (which is being able to follow up with their audience in a low-stress, no-pitch way, that also sells heaps of products and services).

Then I’ll let them know that in the next video, I’ll show them how to solve that problem as well, which will open a mental loop that they’ll need closed before they feel comfortable again.

NOTE: In Jeff Walker’s case, he promises to teach the three types of product launches, and how to know which one is right for you and your business.

PLC#2 – The Transformation

The second PLC video should close the mental loop you opened at the end of the first video, and should teach about the potential for transformation, (in my case, how to follow up regularly while ‘selling’ without always having to ‘pitch’ products and services), and how their lives will be better once they understand how to use these personalised messages in their own business.

The goal for this video is to get people to believe that THEY can achieve the transformation. NOTE: In Jeff’s case he teaches the 3 types of launches and how to choose which one suits where you are in your business. The mental triggers you can use in this video are:

  • Authority
  • Credibility (show results and other credibility boosting elements)
  • Social proof
  • Proof
  • Likability
  • Reciprocity (people will usually want to reciprocate when you do something for them)
  • The common enemy (if possible, bring up a common enemy and position yourself on their side against this perceived enemy)
  • Reason why (giving people a reason why makes everything your doing much more believable)
  • Community (build the conversation in the comments section)

Then at the end of my second PLC video, I’ll be highlighting the next biggest problem my audience faces, and that is in not having enough products or services of their own to fully satisfy their markets desire for more stuff. I’ll promise to help them solve this problem in the third PLC video.

NOTE: The problem Jeff brings up at the end of PLC 2 is, “Well now you know the 5 major types of launches, but you also need to know the details of how to launch if you are going to do it successfully”, and he lets people know that he’s going to go through The Product Launch Blueprint in the next video (which opens another loop that people will feel the need to have closed).

PLC#3 – The Ownership Experience

In the third PLC video, your goal is to cover the ownership experience and what it’s like if they really had this transformation, and what it’s like to own your product or service.

Im my third PLC video, I’ll be sharing the simple system I have for turning any business into a ‘Distribution Centre’ for a range of high profit products and services. This system takes very little time, effort or money to implement, and gives exceptional results for just about everyone who uses it.

The mental triggers you can use in this video are:

  • Scarcity (your launch is coming to an end, and now’s the time to mention the class is coming up, and there will be some kind of deadline or limit to places)
  • Social proof
  • Proof
  • Likability
  • Reciprocity
  • The common enemy
  • Reason why

I’ll be starting off by revisiting the two techniques shared so far, and will then teach them the system for turning their business into a high profit Distribution Centre for a range of other products they don’t have to source or create, stock, handle, deliver or supply customer support for.

NOTE: In Jeff’s content he starts off by saying, “So now you know the sideways sales letter, and you probably know which launch you are going to do, and now I’ll take you through the Product Launch Blueprint” which is an overview of how to do a launch, but it cannot possibly give all the details.

At the end of that video, I’ll be letting people know that my new program is starting in a few days, and in the next video I’ll give them all the details if they’d like to join up.

Jeff announces his Product Launch Formula training is opening up for new members soon, and the next video will give them all the details and show them how to join.

PLC#4 – The Open Cart/Sales Video

In the 4th piece of pre-launch content, you release your sales video or sales letter. The format of this content is (courtesy of Frank Kern as taught to him by John Carlton):

  • Here’s what I’ve got
  • Here’s what it will do for you
  • Here’s what to do next

When people have gone through your prelaunch content and it has actually helped them, and if you present your audience with a great offer, this 3 step process works like gangbusters for converting them into clients and customers.

In his 4th PLC, Jeff releases the sales video that explains a very compelling offer for PLF, and invites people to join.

Once you’ve released your Sales Video, you’re in the ‘Open Cart’ period, which we’ll cover in another post.

For now, remember this…

According to Jeff Walker, this product launch process has helped him make millions of dollars for his own business, and has helped his students make around a billion dollars in sales through product launches.

There are NO guarantees, but when used correctly, the PLF process can probably help you too.

So if you’d like to learn more about how to successfully launch your own product or service by using Jeff’s Sideways Sales Letter process, check out his Product Launch Masterclass by registering here.

The Second Secret To Building A Profitable Product Launch Email List

In this series of posts, we’re looking at the 5 secrets you need to know if you want to build a responsive email list in preparation for your Product Launch Formula launch.

So when you look at your mailing list, is basically a monologue, right? It’s you sending out messages, and people read those messages, that’s it. Then you just keep doing that every day, every week, or on whatever schedule you use.

But here’s the thing…

For the most part, people need to know, like and trust you on some level before they will do business with you. And while sending out your regular messages does help build familiarity and trust over time, it’s not the fastest way to do it.

That’s why your goal should be to personally interact with your readers whenever possible, and actively give them a feeling of belonging to something…

Since the beginning of time, humans have been social creatures. But over the last few years, social media has changed things completely.

People don’t want to just read your messages anymore. They want to “like” them. They want to comment on them and discuss them with you.

They might even want to share your messages with their friends (without having to ‘forward’ an email). They want to feel like they’re a part of something special, part of a Movement if you will, and that’s why it’s in your interest to make these activities as easy as possible for your Tribe.

Here’s the cool part: there’s a psychological trigger at play here. This wanting to belong to a group may actually be hardwired into your subscribers’ brains.

You see, back in tribal times people really couldn’t survive if they were alone. They had to belong to a group if they wanted to thrive. They had to fit in. If they were exiled or excluded from the group for some reason, they either had a very hard life… or more likely, they were killed by a rival group, wild animals or by starvation and illness.

It’s pretty clear that your prospects aren’t going to starve to death or get killed if they’re not part of a group. Logically people know they’ll be okay on their own. But our brains still reward us in various ways for belonging to a group (and often make us feel uncomfortable when we’re alone).

THAT’S why people like to have this sense of belonging.

So your goal with all of your communications should be to try and foster this sense of belonging.

Here’s how to encourage this feeling, which will help you build a relationship with your subscribers and increase their responsiveness…

1. Create A Cool Name For Your Tribe

The other day I saw a Facebook fan page for a one-eyed, blind dog. The owners of the page refer to him as a pirate, and they call all his fans part of his “Pirate Crew.”

It’s a simple name, and his thousands of Facebook fans readily (and happily) refer to themselves as part of the “Crew.” It gives them a sense of belonging and camaraderie. That’s a good thing.

Another example of people who belong to a Movement are are the thousands of “Trekkies” who like Star Trek. This shared love of all things Star Trek gives them a strong bond of belonging and helps them identify each other.

Still one more example: Oprah Winfrey has a TV program and web page called “Super Soul Sunday.” When she talks to the group on social media, she refers to them as “Super Soulers.” It’s a way for Oprah to make each and every reader feel like they’re a part of this special insider group of fans.

TIP: Need more examples? If you look at any sports team, you’ll see how all the fans feel like they’re part of the team, and how these fans even take on the team’s name, logo and colours.

So you get the point here – find a cool and preferably memorable name for your group.

Sure, sometimes your group members will come up with their own name for themselves, but that usually takes a while. It’s much better if you figure out a good name at the beginning, and refer to your group members with that name right away. Just be sure it’s a name with which your members will enjoy being linked to.

Next idea…

2. Link Your Communications To Social Media

Your subscribers will struggle to feel like they’re part of a group if they never get to interact with other members of the group. That’s why you should set up a Facebook Group. Then be sure to link to your Facebook Page from every newsletter, as well as encouraging your Facebook Fans to sign up for your mailing list.

TIP: The bonus of setting up a public Facebook Group is that it gives you another means of communication with your prospects. Plus Facebook is a viral medium, so your existing fans and subscribers can help you find new fans and subscribers by inviting their family and friends.

You might even specifically encourage interaction by asking “What do you think?” at the end of a newsletter article, or inviting them to share their thoughts in the Group. Then include a link to Facebook and encourage people to post their thoughts on your Wall.

Here’s a related idea…

3. Put Your Newsletters And Emails On Your Blog

Another way to encourage interaction is to post all (or at least some) of your newsletters as content on your blog. Make sure you enable blog comments, and encourage your newsletter subscribers to let you know what they think.

TIP: if you want to reserve the best content for your newsletter list, then password protect your newsletter content when you post it on your blog. This will make your newsletter subscribers feel special since they have the password.

It will also encourage your visitors who haven’t yet subscribed to want to subscribe just to see what kinds of posts you’re hiding behind the curtain!

One nice bonus of directing people to your blog is that they’ll see your other content, promotions, banners and offers. The more you can get people visiting your blog, the more sales you’re likely to generate.

Next idea…

4. Create A Private Group

Here’s the best way to make people feel really special: give them access to a private group.

One way to do this is to set up a “closed” or Private Facebook Group. That’s where people can find it by searching Facebook, and they can see the admins and members, but they can’t see the content unless they become a member. And they can’t join until a moderator or admin officially approves them. You can also set up a “secret” group (which can’t be found by searching).

TIP: Another way to set up a private group is by setting up a forum and making one of the sub-forums private.

The idea here is to send your newsletter subscribers to the private group so they can talk about the content you share in your newsletter. Naturally, they can talk about anything else they’d like as well. But the key is to make people feel special because they’re a part of this “secret” and exclusive group. They’re part of your “tribe” or inner circle.

TIP: You can make the group membership a bonus of joining your newsletter list. That means you’ll get more subscribers joining your list, plus the feeling of belonging will help you build a good relationships with your subscribers (which in turns boosts responsiveness).

I’ve done this with one of my free stock trading Membership Sites. When people sign up for a free account, they are added to my email database, and can also request membership of our private Facebook Group, where I share additional insights, and we all contribute content, analyse markets, and share ideas for trades.

This creates a great sense of community where people feel like they belong to something greater than themselves. This sense of belonging makes them much more likely to open my email messages, click through to the sites and offers I share, and buy the products and services I recommend.

THIS is one one of the best ways you can create a highly profitable email list before you roll out your new product or service based on the strategies you learn in Jeff Walker’s Product Launch Formula.

And if you’d like to learn more about building a rabid community of raving fans who are ready to support you when you are ready to launch any product or service, you can do by going through Jeff Walker’s Free Product Launch Masterclass here.

“Will Jeff Walker’s Product Launch Formula Work For Me?”

Apparently throughout the Product Launch Masterclass, Jeff Walker has had quite a few questions from people asking about Product Launch Formula, and most of them are pretty much wondering whether it really works or not.

And the long and short of it is… yes it works.

But rather than talk about all the ways PLF could help you launch and grow your own business, how about I share a few success stories?

Jeff Noble:
Jeff teaches people about Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD), which are the leading cause of developmental disabilities. Even though he’s not a doctor or therapist, he’s used launches to turn his passion into a global mission, and now travels the world to teach people how to cope with this misunderstood health condition.

Thembi Bheka:
Thembi arrived in Canada with just $5 in her pocket, after leaving an abusive relationship in her native Zimbabwe. She knew nothing about online marketing when she discovered PLF, and launched her first course in just six months. Now she’s empowering women in Africa and teaching people about real estate investing. And she just celebrated her first six-figure launch!

Oonagh Duncan:
Oonagh runs a business called Fit Feels Good. She’d been making offers every month for more than a year to a dwindling list. She was starting to get worried about business sustainability when she came across PLF. Her most recent launch is on track to generate $94,000, and her clients are not only losing weight… they’re going out into the world and transforming their lives.

Mary Gilkerson:
Mary is a painter who decided to take her experience teaching college-level art and use it to create an online course. Before PLF, she brought in a pretty respectable $12,000… but after PLF, her launch brought in $54,000. Now Mary’s online art courses are consistently full, and she’s selling more of her own work than ever before. AND she’s using PLF to sell her paintings for up to $12,000 each!

Luis Carlos Flores:
Luis and his wife are psychotherapists who help Latin American parents become great parents. They put together their first launch in just 3 weeks, netting 130 new students in 10 days. Six-figure launches are now the norm, even though their Latin American market doesn’t usually buy online. But the best part is the daily thank you notes from happy clients…

Dylan Frost:
Dylan and his partners built a successful business selling physical products on Amazon. They developed a system for wholesaling products, and started teaching their method to other sellers. Using PLF, their first launch brought in $147,000 and each of the last four launches brought in more than $1 million. Dylan anticipates crossing the $10 million mark this year… all before his 30th birthday.

Susan Garrett:
Susan was already a successful business owner, traveling the world teaching people how to train their dogs. But her schedule was exhausting and unsustainable. When she bought PLF, she was hoping to make enough to pay it off before the credit card statement came in and her husband found out. Her first launch made $27,000… but she didn’t stop there. Susan now does million dollar launches (in her dog training niche, without JV partners).

Dr. Julie Helmrich:
Julie practiced psychology in a traditional setting. She wondered if she could take her mental health training online. Her first launch brought in $17,000 – and her second launch, three times that. An unexpected bonus? Her brick-and-mortar practice is stronger than ever.

Erik Solbakken:
Erik was not sure what he wanted to sell at first… but he knew he was ready for something different after 26 years as an accountant. He found a surprisingly hungry audience and did his first launch, bringing in $10,000 before even creating his product. In just 10 months after starting his online business, Erik made $220,000 in revenue (and is already planning his second launch).

Kara Andretta:
Kara helps cake decorators run successful home businesses. She had a blog that got lots of readers, but very little revenue. In her first launch, Kara more than doubled her list and made $91,000.

Kami McBride:
Kami started from scratch (two years ago she didn’t even have a cell phone), and she’s now done four PLF launches in the last year – and three of them have done more than $10,000 in sales…

Jason Miles:
Jason and his wife Cinnamon had a very small business selling doll clothes – then they used Product Launch Formula to multiply their results by 10x…

Bill O’Hanlon:
Bill had a very nice business – but it was unleveraged. He was traveling three or four times per month, and his lifestyle suffered from his grueling travel schedule. So he created an online course to give himself time freedom. That course made $5,000. Then he got PLF and did a $68,000 launch with the very same course… and he was just getting started.

Ross Grant:
Ross teaches actors about high performance… he had a blog, but he wasn’t making any money. In fact, he was losing money with his blog every month. Then he did a PLF launch and made $15,000 from a list of 180 people

Stacey Murphy:
An urban farmer, Stacy was passionate about bringing healthy foods to the world. To expand her reach, she created an online course but couldn’t get much traction with her audience until she found PLF. Her first PLF launch brought in 3x the revenue of her solo launch. She doubled that with her second PLF launch, and her opt-ins have increased by an incredible 8,900%.

Barry Friedman:
Barry was a very successful entertainer. Then he had a mountain biking accident that left him unable to perform… and his business (and income) were dead in the water. Then he found PLF, and it changed everything in his business…

Tanya Charlotte Targett:
Tanya had a great income, but her business was unleveraged. She had to travel constantly – her health suffered and she was away from her daughter far too much. Then PLF transformed her business…

Troy Dean:
Troy had a successful membership site, but was frustrated because his business was stuck – and he couldn’t figure out how to grow it. Then he got PLF and put it to work – and four launches later he’s built his business to the seven-figure level…

Shelley Brander:
Shelley had a successful brick-and-mortar yarn store… but it suffered every year with the seasonal swings of the market. Then she went online with PLF, and it changed everything in her business (and her life)…

Debbie Arambula:
Debbie is the “Heart Artist” – she paints hearts, and she’s very successful at it. This is how she uses Product Launch Formula to sell her paintings and prints…

Nicholas Wilton:
Nicholas is a fine artist who has led offline workshops to teach people how to paint. Then he used PLF to bring his workshop online – he started from scratch and his first launch did over $400,000 in sales. And he followed that up with another launch that made around the same.

Des and Micheal O’Neill:
Des and Micheal have a business consulting practice with accountants in Ireland. Their first launch using Product Launch Formula did 180,000 Euros and completely transformed their business… and that’s just the start of their story.

As you can see, there’s a tone of proof that Product Launch Formula works in all sorts of markets.

If you’d like to hear these PLF owners stories for yourself, you can check them out on this page.

Product Launch Masterclass Lesson 4 – How To Transition To Your Open Cart

Jeff Walker is gearing up for the 4th and final instalment of his free 2019 Product Launch Formula Masterclass, and this lesson is going to be one of the most important.

That’s because if you are like a lot of people who don’t see themselves as natural ‘sales people’, it’s easy to get freaked out or feel a little weird when you’re trying to sell your products or services. This is especially so when you are doing a launch because you are going from giving value in your pre-launch content, to asking for a sale when you are in the ‘open cart’ period.

That’s a perfectly natural feeling, and because lot of people feel this way, it can really hamper your sales, profits, and your business growth. The thing is, at the end of the day, you have to make sales if you want to have a successful business.

Here’s How Product Launch Formula Solves The Problem…

That’s why for the past week or so, Jeff Walker has been holding his brand new LIVE Product Launch Masterclass training, and if you’d like to learn an effective way to sell, that focuses on providing tons of value to your customers and clients, then you should check it out here.

During the Masterclass, Jeff has given away almost 10 hours of incredible live training that can help you take your ideas and use them to launch a business…

…and also how to use launches to grow your existing business fast.

He’s going to be going LIVE with the fourth and final lesson in his Launch Masterclass on Monday.

And this lesson is all about how to transition from delivering value in your pre-launch marketing content, to asking for the sale in a dignified, no-hype, low-pressure way that makes people want to buy from you.

Jeff has NEVER taught this topic in public before with this level of depth. It’s going to be very valuable.

Before You Launch Your Product – Learn All You Can About Your Market

Imagine you’re a Harley Davidson owner and lover who’s thinking of using Product Launch Formula to release a range of specialist products targeted to other Harley owners and enthusiasts.

You’ve built a list of people who are Harley Davidson riders and enthusiasts, but prior to your launch, you’d been sending emails with content and offers for anything other than Harley stuff.

You can probably imagine what sort of results you’d end up with…

You might be a chuckling a little and thinking that you’d never make such a stupid mistake. And yet at some level at least, you might be making this mistake right now. That is, you might be sending out content and offers without really understanding who the people in your market are and what they want.

Let’s look at an even more common example, one that I’ve seen on several occasions…

Every so often an email will turn up from an internet marketer that starts out with “Hey, Dude.”

Obviously the marketer who does this is excluding a whole lot of people from reading his message, including:

  • Men over the age of about 30
  • Professionals of any age who don’t like being referred to as “dude.”
  • Women 🙂

Of course “Hey, Dude” might be perfectly fine if the email list is comprised of young men age 15-25 who like to ride surfboards or skateboards. But when you’re email list is full of supposedly professional marketers, you’re just driving down the response rate you’re going to get.

So here’s the point of all of this…

If you want people on your email list who read your messages, click through to your content and offers, and who buy the stuff you recommend, then you better learn as much as you can about those people your.

Some of the demographic and psychographics data you want to find out are:

  • Are they male or female
  • Their age range
  • Where they live
  • Their highest education level
  • The sort of jobs and careers they have
  • How much money they earn
  • What sort of words and jargon they use when they talk to each other
  • What they like to do with their free time
  • When and were they go on vacation
  • How much money they spend on their hobbies
  • What their problems and frustrations are
  • What makes them nervous or afraid
  • What motivates and inspires them
  • What their goals and dreams are
  • What sort of products or services they’ve tried to solve their problems
  • What sort of products and services they are already buying in your market

Once you know these things, you’ll be able to create an accurate Customer Avatar or “profile” of your ideal customers, and send them content that really connects with speaks directly to them. And you’ll be able to send out promotions for products and services that they’re fairly certain to buy.

So how do you figure out all this stuff about your market?

First off, using the Harley Davidson market as an example, you can survey people to learn more about their needs, wants and problems. One great way to to use Ryan Levesque’s Ask Formula and do a Deep Dive Survey.

But even when you use a Deep Dive survey can sometimes give you skewed results. That’s because what people say they want and what they actually DO can be two quite different things.

Secondly, you can learn a lot about your market by rolling up your sleeves and doing some market research. Looking through popular marketplaces like Amazon.com, search for your keywords (such as “Harley accessories” or “Harley touring” or “Harley vacations”), and find out what the people in that market are already buying.

Once you know what they’re already buying, then you can do three things:

1. Send out content based around these topics

2. Send offers promoting the products they’re already buying

3. Source or create your own similar products and promote them too

And finally…

One way to really get inside your prospects’ heads is to spend some time with them (f you were in the Harley market this is a given). Best way to do this (whenever possible) is to become part of the target market for a while.

For example, if you are not into Harley bikes but instead your target market is hydroponic gardeners, then you ought to start your own hydroponic garden so that you fully understand your market’s needs, desires, problems and frustrations.

What’s more, you need to get in to conversations with people in your target market and really spend some time listening to them. That’s right, you can start eavesdropping on your market.

Here are good places to do it:

  • Niche forums
  • Relevant Facebook groups
  • Discussions on niche-relevant Facebook Pages
  • Discussions in the comments sections of blogs
  • Questions and answers on sites like Quora.com
  • Reviews of popular products on sites like Amazon.com
  • Comments on niche-relevant videos on YouTube.com

The more time you spend learning about what the people in your market want and need, the easier it will be for you to connect with your subscribers. You’ll create better content, send better offers, and start making more sales.

And if you would like to learn more about how to kick it out of the park when you launch your own product or service, including how to grow your launch list quickly with people who are in your ideal target audience, check out Jeff Walker’s free Product Launch Masterclass here.

How To Get Other People To Send Traffic To Your Product Launch

As you move through the Product Launch Formula process by running your Seed Launch, then your Internal Launch, and you prepare to hold your big JV Launch, if you haven’t already done so, you are going to need to set up your own robust affiliate program.

Pretty simple right?

Yes.

Is that all there is to it? Kinda like “If you build it, they will come?” Unfortunately no.

First, here’s a brief statement that sums up the plan you’ll get in the rest of this post…

Compel a group of people who have access to your target audience to take an initial, small, easy step to send you traffic and then graduate to bigger, ongoing steps that send you even more traffic later on.

There are three important components to this plan…

1. Send You Traffic

We’ll begin with the end result – getting other people to send people who are likely to want to buy your stuff to your website. Naturally the primary reason why other people will send you traffic is because there is something in it for them. In the affiliate or JV partner context, that reason is to earn a commission on any sales generated through their referral.

Those people tell their audience about your product. Some of the people from their audience come to your site and buy your product. You pay the affiliate 50% or more commission.

The customer gets to own a product or service that makes their lives better in some way. You make money. Your affiliate make money. Everybody is happy!

So, there are a couple of things you need to do to get the ball rolling.

First, you need to set up your affiliate program. This will be the system you use to track your affiliate referrals, pay your affiliates, fulfill the orders and so forth.

There are MANY options, in fact there are too many for me to explain “how to” set up the technical aspects of in this module.

Every affiliate program and service provider has a different way of setting things up. And, fortunately, each of them have training materials to walk you through setting up the program.

Some of the most popular options are: Clickbank.com, JVzoo.com, and Amember.com.

Amember works with your own Paypal account, while the other two are complete processing systems that handle everything on your behalf. Whatever option you choose, you will need to set up an affiliate program where you offer at least 40%, and some digital product promoters offer 90% or even 100% on certain products.

Second, you need to create an “affiliate attack plan”. This is a game plan that outlines specific action steps for your new partners to take in order to send you traffic. Your attack plan is THE key to getting other people to actively and repeatedly promote your launch and your ongoing offers.

2. Compel Others To Take An Initial, Small, Easy Step

There are basically two types of affiliates you are going to interact with: those who are “new” who know very little about what they are doing, and those who are experienced or “seasoned” who know what they are doing and are busy getting on with the job.

Both of these are going to need some small steps to complete in order to get them actively promoting you.

Those who are “new” will need small steps because of their limited experience. These are “baby steps” that should be easy to complete.

Those who are “seasoned” will need small steps because they probably won’t stop what they are already doing just to jump all in to promote you without first testing the waters with some “quick and easy” steps.

The important thing here is to give affiliates something easy they do immediately to GET THEM ACTIVE. You want to warm them up. Get them off the bench and into the game.

The idea is to make them a part of your tribe and help them to “invest” in you and your product in a simple way so that it’s not as much of a stretch to go deeper.

Just to give you some examples, here are a few ideas…

  • Like and share your Facebook page
  • Post something cool about you on their Facebook wall
  • Retweet something you’ve shared on Twitter
  • Post some of your content to their blog
  • Upload some marketing graphics (banners, buttons) to their site
  • Give away one of your free reports

Each of these steps takes just a few minutes to complete – some, literally, just a second or two. Some of these steps probably won’t get you much traffic at all, while others could potentially bring you a lot of traffic (writing a blog post, or distributing a free report).

But that’s not the main point. The point is, you’re getting them to focus attention on YOU (instead of your competition or anything else they’ve got going on) and every “little” step moves them forward toward “bigger” steps (this is called Commitment and Consistency, which is one of Cialdini’s major mental triggers). Which leads us to…

3. Then Graduate To Bigger, Ongoing Steps

Ultimately, this is where you want affiliates to end up. Fully on board. Eager to endorse your products and services. Actively engaged in marketing for you. Taking more and bigger steps to repeatedly send you traffic, including participating in your product launches and even creating products with you at some stage.

That takes a bit of time and effort to pull off, but the payday of having a group of active partners is tremendous.

The first step is building a list of affiliates. Then, you regularly communicate with ALL of those people on your list. Then you refine the process by regularly and personally communicating with select affiliates and partners who show the most interest and bring the most influence.

What I want to convey to you is the importance of having a dedicated affiliate list where you regularly communicate with your team of partners to keep them active and keep them taking increasingly larger steps to send traffic to you.

Sooner or later (usually later, because it takes time to establish mutual trust), you’ll want affiliates doing things for you such as…

  • Sending out large-scale promotional mailings for your launches and special promotions
  • Offering their own free incentives and bonuses to get people to buy
  • Sharing you with their audiences by featuring you in webinars, podcasts, and other interviews
  • Buying advertising to drive even more traffic to your product page
  • Permanently featuring your products and services in their autoresponders, sig files and ongoing promotions

When those kinds of things start to happen with ONE affiliate, you’ll get a lot of great free traffic. When those kinds of things start to happen with MANY affiliates, you’ll get a traffic jam of customers visiting your site!

Bottom line: you want to get and keep your affiliates active, both during and after your product launch

That happens through setting up your affiliate program, creating a systematic affiliate attack plan, and then utilising your affiliate list to keep them thinking about you.

Details Of Jeff Walkers Upcoming Product Launch Formula 2019 Launch

Jeff Walker has just released some of the details about his imminent Product Launch Formula 2019 launch, and it’s gonna be awesome.

First, prelaunch starts this coming Wednesday and each piece of prelaunch content will actually be delivered as LIVE broadcasts, with the first one starting on Thursday this week (register here).

Here’s what you’ve got to look forward to during Jeff’s Product Launch Formula 2019 launch…

PLF Live Broadcast 1 is about how and why you should use a product launch instead of relying on what Jeff calls “Hope Marketing” to get your product or service out there and selling quickly. This Workshop looks at the core PLF launch strategy Jeff estimates has powered over a BILLION dollars in sales.

He’ll be covering his famous Sideways Sales Letter technique and sharing the Mental Triggers you must include if you want to maximise sales of any product or service. He’ll also cover creating a powerful prelaunch sequence that delivers value and converts like crazy.

When you attend the live training you will have an opportunity to get your questions answered, you’ll also get access to a PDF download, and there will also be a replay available if you register but miss the live broadcast.

PLF Live Broadcast 2 is about picking the right type of launch for your current situation. Jeff will teach the three primary types of launches – the Seed Launch, the Internal Launch, and JV Launches. He’ll also cover what he calls Launch Stacking.

The Seed Launch is where you can start with no list and no product, and use the Product Launch Formula process to get paid to create that first product. The Internal Launch is the classic “Sideways Sales Letter” launch you can use to sell a bunch of products or services to your own list.

And the Joint Venture Launch (as you know) is where you use JV partners to help you promote your launch.

“Launch Stacking” is how you sequence your launches so they continually get better.

There’ll be a live broadcast for this with Q&A, plus a video replay and PDF download as well to help you internalise and implement what you learn.

In PLF Live Broadcast 3 Jeff will cover the Product Launch Blueprint… and this is the technique that always takes a launch up to a much higher level.

Jeff will basically walk you through an outline (or blueprint) of the entire Launch process. It comes with a full PDF 20 page PDF Guide that outlines the entire process, and it’s got a real focus on the next steps.

This session will do a great job of setting you up the cart open period of your own product launch. There will also be live Q&A, plus a replay and the downloadable blueprint PDF available if you miss the live event.

I’ve been a Product Launch Formula owner since 2007, and I always participate in Jeff’s launches (and upgrade to the latest version) to grab any new ideas he and his team of launch managers have come up with.

Even if you don’t plan on joining the PLF community, you owe it to yourself to get on the PLF 2019 notification list and watch as Jeff launches how own flagship product this September.

How Jeff Walker Handles The Nerves Leading-Up To His Product Launch Formula 2019 Launch

So right now it’s just 3 days until Jeff Walker’s big once-a-year launch of what will be his Product Launch Formula 2019 program, and as he admits in the video below, he’s a little nervous.

That’s because whenever you go into your own launch, you never really know for sure what’s going to happen.

Even though Jeff is know in the marketing community to be THE “guru” who invented the online product launch, he freely admits he doesn’t have any kind of special future-seeing abilities.

The exciting thing is that with this launch, he just has a hunch that he and his team are onto something cool.

As he says, even after doing 16 PLF launches, for him it’s definitely exciting (and also a little scary :-))

Anyway, Jeff recorded a sneak peek at all the exciting stuff coming up over the next couple of weeks in this video…

If you’ve ever faced pre-game anxiety (like me) right before a big, new thing you’re about to start doing, there’s a little something in the video that might help with that.

Go here to register for Jeff’s Product Launch Formula 2019 Launch so you can see his latest launch innovations, go through his 4-part live Masterclass, and watch how the inventor of PLF launches how own product.

4 More Ways To Create Profitable Products To Launch To Your Audience

In this previous post, we talked about 4 easy ways to have other people help you create products you can launch using Product Launch Formula. In this post we’ll look at several more options for creating high value products quickly with very little work

Last time we discussed having somebody interview you and record it, but an additional way to create a product quickly is for you to interview another expert in your field.

Just as with the previous example, you can either interview this person privately, or you can do it via a live teleconference with other people listening in.

Either way, you’ll have the recordings and transcript to sell using a product launch, or to give away in whole or in part.

Tip: You can create a joint venture where you “swap” interviews with your partner. That means you interview your partner, and in exchange he or she interviews you.

After a couple of hours on the phone, you will have created two separate products that you can both sell to your audiences.

The key to creating a great end product is to ensure you’ve done the right preparation upfront.

You’ll want to give your JV partner an outline that lets them know the general flow of the call, as well as examples of the types of questions you might ask.

However, you should not script the call. Don’t give your partner the exact outline with the exact questions you intend to ask.

And be sure your partner knows that any outline you provide is merely a rough outline, otherwise both of you will sound unnatural and robotic as the interview progresses, which will significantly devalue your finished products.

The point is that you’ll want to prepare your partner so that they know what to expect. If they know what to expect, they’ll be more comfortable during the call. This preparation is especially important if you’re working with someone who doesn’t usually do interviews.

Here are two more tips for creating a great interview:

1 – Talk to your partner beforehand. If you don’t know each other that well (or at all), it’s a good idea to chat on the phone for a while the day before. You’ll feel more comfortable with each other, which will make your phone interview go a lot more smoothly.

2 – Send out reminders to your partner. It’s up to you to make sure your partner has all the information they need about the call, such as the exact time, date and the phone number they needs to dial if it’s a conference call.

You’ll want to provide this information immediately, then send a reminder a few days before the call, and a final reminder within 24 hours of the call. Your intervene is likely to be busy, so you need to make sure they give your interview the priority it needs.

Idea 6. Invite A Panel of Experts To Join A Teleseminar

We’ve just talked about creating a teleseminar by interviewing one person, but you can take this idea even further by putting together a panel of experts and create a 60 to 90 minute teleseminar.

Once again, you not only have the live call to sell as a product (with inbuilt scarcity since it has a fixed deadline), you’ll also get to sell the recordings when the call is over.

This is one case where “the more, the merrier” does not apply.

If you invite too many experts, then some people on your panel won’t get a chance to talk. Or even worse, the call could end up becoming a chaotic shambles because everyone will try to talk over one another. That’s why it’s a good idea to limit your panel to roughly three experts.

The key to coming up with a great panel is to create some diversity. That means you’ll want to pull together a group of experts who’re likely to disagree with each other on some points.

We’re not talking about them getting into heated arguments here, but rather enough disagreement to create a lively debate.

Example: Let’s suppose you’re creating a panel of experts to talk about losing Weight. You might invite these experts:

  • Somebody from a group such as Weight Watchers. This person would likely focus on the benefits of consistent portion control as the secret to losing weight.
  • A low-carb expert who would focus on offering dieting tips that revolve around eating low-carb foods.
  • A bodybuilder who would talk about the importance of eating a “clean,” balanced diet, plus doing regular cardio and weight lifting to build lean muscle.

The slightly different viewpoints would no doubt generate some good discussion around the topic, without the participants coming to blows.

So what happens if you have more than three experts that you’d like to get on the phone with you?

Simple – you just use this next product-creation idea…

Idea 7. Create a Call Series

Your product doesn’t need to consist of just one call. Instead, you can create a product with a higher perceived value by creating a series of calls.

This series can consist of:

  • Individual experts who you interview
  • Having other experts interview you
  • Interviews with a panel of experts
  • Or a mix of interviews with individuals and panels

In order to sell a series of calls as one product, the calls need to be tightly related.

Example: Let’s say you invite six traffic-generation experts for six individual interviews. You might have:

  • Someone who’s an expert with social media
  • A SEO (search engine optimization) expert
  • An expert blogging expert
  • A JV manager or affiliate marketing expert
  • A content marketing expert
  • An expert in getting free publicity

You can do hold call a week for a 6-week call series called “Six Secrets To Profitable Marketing” or “6 Weeks To A More Profitable Business” or “6 Ways to Quickly Grow Your Sales And Profits”.

So as you can see, there are a variety of ways for you to create text, audio and video products and even hold profitable live events with your JV partners.

In some cases – such as with live events – you can even turn one product into two products (the live event and the recordings).

Of course, having a product is one thing. Getting it to market in the fastest and most profitable way is something else entirely.

4 Simple Ideas For Creating A Super Fast Product Launch

Despite our best efforts, when we are thinking of developing a new product and using Product Launch Formula to release it, finding the time to do everything required can be really difficult.

And yet one of the biggest ah-ha moments I ever had was when I heard Joe Vitale say “Money loves speed”…

So when you have a to-do list that includes creating the product itself, coming up with relevant bonuses, creating the marketing materials, finding JV partners, and everything else, it can be daunting.

But there are ways you can partner up with other people and get their help to create high-quality products, bonuses, and marketing materials. And when you set things up correctly, you can even get their help for free.

Here are 4 ways you can use right now to come up with awesome products you can launch using PLF within just a few days…

1. Work With Partners To Create An Ebook Or Special Report

You can contact one or more well known experts in your market and gather them all together to create a valuable report or ebook. Once it’s done, you can all promote the product to your audiences through a Product Launch Formula style launch, and share in the profits it generates.

There are two different ways to approach this task:

1 – To make it as easy as possible for your partners, you could do the bulk of the work and list each partner as a co-author.

Why would you do this? Simple: If you’re trying to get yourself established as an expert or a prominent player in your niche market, then associating your name with other influential marketers will boost your credibility and reputation. And another marketer will agree to it because they get a new product to promote with a minimum amount of work on their part.

2 – On the other hand, each partner could do an equal amount of work, and each of you takes equal credit and you both or all end up with a product that you can sell.

Naturally if you have multiple authors helping you create the product, say a dozen or more partners, then consider these two different ways for creating a report or ebook.

Example: For illustration purposes, let’s say you’re writing a book about building an online business. Here’s how you might approach this project:

Each partner could writes one chapter covering the topic of their individual expertise. So you would have chapters on traffic generation methods such as SEO, paid media such as Facebook and Google Adwords, social media such as Facebook Groups and Instagram, blogging, and other topics. You’d ask experts on each of those topics to create a chapter covering their best strategies for you.

Each partner would answer the same question. Here you might ask everyone a question such as “If you only had $100 to generate as many targeted prospects to your site as possible, what would you do?”

If you ask a wide range of experts that same question, you’ll get a diverse set of answers, which will make for a helpful and entertaining product.

The benefits for each partner include:

  • Getting a byline at the end of their article where they can promote their lead agent or one of their offers
  • Every partner either gets the rights to sell the product, or you give them a “super affiliate” commission (such as 75% or 90%) to sell it on your behalf
  • Those people who’re newer to the niche can get their names printed alongside known experts which will give them some brand recognition and social proof

But what if your potential partners don’t like to write. Then you might consider…

2. Doing a Joint Venture Webinar

A super quick way to create a valuable product is to gather together one or more partners to do a webinar for anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours.

You can use a stable platform like GoToWebinar.com or Zoom.com, and have the system record the event for you.

The advantage of doing a webinar is that you have the ability to show videos or screen captures with your audience.

For example:

  • You could hold a web design webinar where you show participants exactly how to download, install and use an HTML editor to design a website.
  • You can do a blogging webinar where you show step-by-step how to set up and optimise a blog. Your viewers can even follow along on their own computer to set up their first blog if they want to.
  • You can run a copywriting webinar, and critique a sales letter or some of the participant’s email copy live.

In these examples I say “you,” but of course I’m referring to you or your JV partner.

Example: So, for example, you can ask a copywriting expert to do a webinar with you. You can spend part of the time interviewing him, part of the time having him do a live critique and part of the time fielding questions.

Another advantage is that you’ll end up creating two profitable products you can launch immediately:

The live webinar itself. This is valuable because your participants have a chance to ask questions of the presenters personally. You can offer this webinar as a paid event through a Quick Launch or Seed Launch, or you might even use some of the content as a lead-generating front end offer.

The recorded webinar. You and your partners can sell the recordings outright after you’ve held the webinar, you could use them as bonuses for your other paid products, or even give some or all of the event away to people who join your mailing list.

3. Hold An Offline Event

What you could do here is put together a panel of experts for a live weekend workshop at a local hotel or another place with a conference or convention center.

Your workshop might include:

  • Seminars and/or lectures
  • Breakout workshops with individual speakers
  • Informal “meet and greets” with the experts
  • Catered morning and afternoon teas and/or even meals

The advantages of holding a workshop are twofold:

1 – Workshops have a very high perceived value. That’s why you’ll see high ticket prices attached to these events, ranging from a couple hundred dollars to several thousand dollars for admission.

2 – You’ll have the recordings. Since you’ll likely end up with a multiple-DVD collection just from a one weekend Seminar, the collection tends to be valuable (it will be valued at up to several hundred or even thousands of dollars, depending on the topic).

There are downsides of course, which are all the organisational challenges involved as well as the higher overhead expenses.

Not only do you have to organise your speakers, you have to arrange for and pay for a conference room, also pay for catering if you are including it for the event.

You’ll also need to ensure your speakers have the materials and facilities they need to give their best presentations. Most conference centers provide microphones and most of the other technology your presenters will need to deliver for you.

So what’s in it for the presenters?

The big benefit is that they can make an offer for their products from the stage at the end of their talks. They can make sales at the back of the room for the duration of the Seminar or Conference.

Then they’ll be able to make additional sales once you start selling or otherwise distributing the seminar recordings. These sorts of events can be very lucrative for everyone concerned.

4. Arrange For Someone To Interview You

You can hold interviews over the phone in one of two ways:

1 – Just you and the interviewer. This is the easier option because there is far less pressure, since you won’t have an audience listening in. If you are someone who tends to clam up when you know you are being recorded live, you may not able to give your best. Once you’ve finished the recording, you’ll then sell or giveaway the finished product (and/or the transcripts).

2 – With an audience. With this option you create a live teleseminar event, which can turn into an awesome product with the right interviewer who can really draw out the best information from you. You also have the recording as a second product.

Tip: You can also transcribe the recordings of your interview to create a text product. You can sell the transcriptions along with the recordings which is guaranteed to boost the perceived value of your product. Plus, providing transcriptions helps people who prefer to read, along with your deaf or hard-of-hearing customers.

The main reason to get someone else to interview you is that it establishes YOU as an expert. So if you’re new to the niche, it’s a great way to get established and start building a good reputation.

And your reputation will grow even further if you have an influential person in the niche conducting your interview.

Tip: You can also hold teleseminars and record them using a service like e-teleconferencing.com, which allows you to have people call the bridge line and listen in.

To make it as easy as possible for your interviewer, you should give them list of questions you’d like them ask you. Make sure to encourage the interviewer to ask his own questions (including spontaneous follow up questions) as well, which will make for a smoother, more natural-sounding interview.

Finally, there’s a good chance your interview is going to have a few glitches, such as times where you need to pause because the dog next door is barking, or perhaps when the two of you digress from the main topic. You can easily clean up these glitches using a sound file editor such as Audacity

As you can see, there are plenty of ways you can make use of the “Money loves Speed” principle to quickly create products with other people’s help.

The Safest Way To Recruit JV Product Launch Partners

We’ve looked at a few different ways to find JV partners to help you promote your big JV Launch in recent posts, but I can’t stress how much easier it is to get a friend or even an acquaintance to say “yes” to a JV request, as opposed to trying to recruit somebody who doesn’t know you.

It’s just the same in business as it is in your personal life.

As you can imagine, the biggest players in your market get dozens of joint venture proposals every month. And even if they wanted to participate in all of these joint ventures or product launches, they can’t because there’s not enough time in the day, or days in each month to mail.

That’s why they need to be very choosy about who they promote for.

There are two factors that influence their decision on who to promote:

1. Do they personally know the person who is inviting them?

People tend to want to do business with other people they know, like and trust. That’s why it’s a good idea for you to start building relationships with prospective partners before you invite them to participate in your product launch.

You can start getting into conversations with them on their blogs, in forums and social media sites, in the breaks at offline conferences and elsewhere.

Build strong relationships first, and work on doing JVs later.

2. What benefits are they going to receive?

In other words, WHY should they promote your JV as opposed to mailing for somebody else?

What are they going to get out of it? Whenever you approach a JV partner, you have to focus on the benefits THEY are going to get.

Sometimes you just won’t have time to build a relationship first. If that’s the case, you can send out a “cold” JV proposal inviting them to participate.

Jeff Walker includes word for word templates for these approach emails in his Product Launch Formula training, along with samples of the email copy you’ll be going to those JV partners as you work your way through your JV launch.

How To Find Your Ideal Product Launch Partners

Product Launch Formula JV LaunchAs you prepare for the JV Launch Jeff discusses in his Product Launch Formula training, finding and locking in promotional partners is one of your most important activities. Finding partners is relatively simple if you’ve been working in a particular market for some time, because you’ll already know about the other players in the niche.

What you are looking for are people who are catering to the same target audience as you, as well as anyone you currently think of a competitor who could also become a JV partner for your Launch.

One great way to find these prospective partners is to simply search Google. Just type in your niche keywords (like “dog training” or “orchid gardening”), and you’ll find there are plenty of prospective partners who you can do some more research on.

Taking note of the merchants who are paying for the sponsored ads in Google’s search results are also your potential partners, because these will be the most advanced marketers who know how to make paid traffic convert.

Another option is to check out opportunities for finding partners in the Clickbank.com marketplace. Just enter your niche keywords into the search box inside the Clickbank marketplace, or browse through relevant categories looking for complementary products.

Remember: The products that appear near the top of categories or searches are the most popular, so it’s likely that these vendors have bigger email lists and more resources at their disposal to help you with your own launch.

You can also hang out on and read niche blogs, subscribe to niche newsletters, and join forums and social media sites and get involved in the conversations that go on there.

The owners of these platforms, and often the main contributors, are all potential partners. Plus, if you read these publications and sites regularly, you’ll be able to keep your finger on the pulse of your niche, so you’ll know who the new players are, and what’s going on as soon as it happens.
