Jeff Walkers’ New Training – The Hidden Product Launch Sequences

Jeff Walker just added a BONUS live training to his Product Launch Masterclass, and it’s happening NOW.

Jeff is going to talk about the two “hidden” launch sequences that provide extra power for your launch… and how they can help you go from a single launch to a sustainable business that creates income and freedom way beyond your initial launch.

Click here if you want to get in on it – but you’ve gotta do it quick… it’s happening in just a few hours:

Learn How To Use The Hidden Launch Sequences Here

Warm regards,

Rocky

P.S. I get that it’s a surprise live lesson – if you can’t make it, there will be a replay available… but to watch it, you’ve got to register.

If you’re even remotely curious about how to launch a product, service, or business online, you’re going to love this free training. But it’s only available for a few more days, so check it out while you can. Here’s the link to register.

P.S.P. As a PLF owner and user since 2008 and one of Jeff’s affiliate partners, I may receive a commission from Jeff if you invest in his program at the end of the Masterclass – but it won’t cost you anything extra.

How To Feel Comfortable Selling – Product Launch Masterclass 3

As we discussed yesterday, Jeff Walker is getting ready to do his third LIVE lesson in the Launch Masterclass… including live Q&A during the broadcast so you can have any questions you have answered.

Jeff’s “Product Launch Formula” is the launch process that nearly every top influencer and thought leader uses. He’s had over a million people go through his free launch training. And this year’s Launch Masterclass takes it to an even higher level.

He’s going to be talking about the “Open Cart” sequence. This is the part of a product launch where you make all the sales. And he’ll show you how to do it in a totally “non-slimy, non-salesy” way.

NOTE: this live training series is all free for now. And you can totally binge-watch it and get caught up. But it’s only available for a short time. You can register for the class here.

I’ll see you on the call in a few hours.

Warm regards,

Rocky

Put Your Business Growth On Autopilot With An Evergreen Launch

One of the beautiful things about the Product Launch Formula process is that once you’ve done your Seed Launch, your Internal Launch and your big JV launch (or even any of them), and you’ve perfected the process of turning cold visitors into customers, you can put your business growth on autopilot by creating an Evergreen Launch.

An Evergreen Launch is a great way to generate a large, ongoing profit stream from assets you only had to create one time. All that’s required is a constant stream of traffic into the front of your launch funnel, and sales will continue to come out of the back end.

Here’s the details of running your Evergreen Launch…

So as I mentioned, an Evergreen product launch is how you take a one-time product launch and turn it into an ongoing, recurring process. As people subscribe to your email list, they will go into a product launch shortly afterwards and be introduced (some might say indoctrinated into) your world. Even a very simple launch sequence will vastly outperform any type of what Jeff Walker calls “hope marketing”.

The basic steps are: run a product launch using the format Jeff teaches in Product Launch Formula, and then leave the product or service on the market so it’s available any time. Another way you can do it is to do a launch, take the product off the market for a period of time, and then relaunch it every so often.

An important thing to note is that there’s no one right way for everyone to use this. You can have multiple products and be using multiple different strategies. You don’t have to get everything perfectly right for this to work.

With an Evergreen Launch, new subscribers will start going through your product launch content maybe just 3 days after joining your list. So within 10-15 days, you are going to find out whether it converts or not, and you can make adjustments accordingly.

One thing to remember is that if you’re trying to do an Evergreen Launch with JV partners, it can be tough to motivate your partners to continue promoting. Their mailing calendars are typically full with JV Launches, so the chances of them wanting to promote for you on an ongoing basis are lower.

One way this can work is if you can get JV partners to add your launch sequence to their automated email followup sequences. That way your traffic AND sales from them will be evergreen, as long as your sequence keeps converting for them.

You can learn more about setting up an Evergreen Launch in Jeff Walker’s Product Launch Formula.

10 Lead Magnets That Are A Perfect Blend Of Information And Promotion

Before you can launch your product successfully, you’re going to need an email list of people to launch to.

And building an email list is really all about traffic generation. When you set up an optin form on a landing page, it’s just a matter of getting more people to visit that page so they can subscribe to your list.

In this article, I want to share the “top 10” Lead Magnets you can use to quickly grow your email database….

Let’s start off with:

1. Planner / Schedule

People don’t just want to know the “step-by-step” of how to do something – they also want to know when to take these steps. And that’s exactly what a planner or calendar will provide for your prospects. For example:

  • A Yearly Planner for Info Product Sellers
  • The Bodybuilder’s 30-Day Plan for Preparing for Your First Competition
  • The Weekly Planner for Homeschooling Moms
  • How to Get Your Home Sold In Just 21 Days

2. Cheat Sheets

These sorts of Lead Magnets give your prospects an overview of how to do something, but they don’t tell them how (exactly) to complete each step. That’s why this Lead Magnet is a good choice for when you’re selling in-depth how-to information on the backend.

For example:

  • The Savvy Saver’s Cheat Sheet for Creating a Household Budget
  • The Aspiring Novelist’s Cheat Sheet for Writing a Bestselling Thriller
  • The Entrepreneur’s Business Brainstorming Cheat Sheet
  • The Dieter’s Cheat Sheet for Dining Out

3. Checklists

A good checklist makes an excellent Lead Magnet, simply because it’s something that your prospects will refer to again and again. Every time they use your checklist, they’ll see your call to action for your paid product.

For example:

  • A 27 Point Bodybuilding Workout for Kettlebell Enthusiasts
  • 50 Point Inspection Checklist for Buying a Used ATV
  • 101 Point Checklist for Starting a New Online Business
  • 25 Point Checklist for Writing a Novel

SIDEBAR: Encourage your prospects to print off the checklist. Depending on what type of checklist it is, they could hang it on the wall or keep it in their pocket. For example, they might keep a workout checklist in their pocket at the gym, whereas they may hang a business-related checklist near their computer.

4. Swipe Files

A swipe file is a collection of content pieces that people can use for inspiration to create similar content. The intent isn’t to copy these pieces, but to use them as springboards to creating your own content.

For example:

  • The Copywriter’s Swipe File, which includes good headlines, sales letters, pay per click ads and other sales copy.
  • The Career Builder’s Swipe File, which includes cover letters and resumes.
  • The Aspiring Novelist’s Swipe File, which includes plot lines as well as queries for sending to publishers.
  • The Professional Speaker’s Swipe File, which includes jokes, openers and other content for speeches.

While the swipe file is used for inspiration, this next Lead Magnet is designed to be used and copied…

5. Templates

These are typically “fill in the blank” tools you can offer your prospects so they can create a content piece or form quickly and easily. These are designed for your prospects to copy, so be sure you create these templates yourself and give your prospects permission to use them.

TIP: If you offer legal forms, be sure to get them created by a licensed attorney.

For example:

  • The Copywriter’s Template Kit, which includes fill-in-the-blank headlines, openers, guarantees and other elements of a sales letter.
  • The Landlord’s Rental Contract Template, which is a fill-in-the-blank legal contract.
  • The Car Dealer’s Template Pack, which includes templates for purchase orders, the bill of sale and other forms typically used in the course of a dealer’s business.
  • The Fitness Boot Camp Template Kit, which includes advertising templates and client contracts for a personal trainer who is setting up a boot camp business.

6. Worksheets

Worksheets contain a series of questions or tasks for the reader to work through in order to plan, evaluate, and move forward in progressing towards an objective.

For example:

  • The Content Marketing Strategy Worksheet
  • Your Wedding Activities And Budget Worksheet
  • P90X Workout Worksheet For The Perfect Routine
  • The Eating Well Goal-Setting Worksheet For Weight Loss
  • The 30-Day Dog Obedience Worksheet

7. Resource Guides

Another thing that your prospects will really enjoy getting is a list of the tools and resources you use on a daily basis in your niche. Your list can include the name of the resource, the pros and cons of the tool, who would benefit most from using the tool, and a link (or affiliate link) to the tool.

For example:

  • 12 Parenting Books That Should Be On Every Parent’s Bookshelf
  • The Six Figure Seller’s Most Trusted Tools and Resources
  • The Beginning Mountain Climber’s Gear List
  • 17 Tools You Need to Start Your Yard Care Business

8. Case Studies

A case study is where you provide the exact progress and results you or someone else achieved using a particular product or service.

The reason why this works so well to sell a product is because it naturally provides proof a product works, so it overcomes the prospect’s main objections. Just be sure to present a lot of hard proof such as pictures, videos, screenshots, measurements or similar evidence.

For example:

  • You can present an eight-week case study showing how well a body transformation program works.
  • A one month case study showing how much money a marketer made selling Amazon affiliate products.
  • A three-day case study showing how a golfer lowered his golf score by using a certain set of clubs.
  • A one-day case study showing how an amateur photographer took better photos after taking an online photography class.

9. Q&A / Interview

This Lead Magnet has a lot of flexibility, as you can offer a text, audio or video interview. Ideally, you should be the person being interviewed (you can ask a colleague or friend to do be the interviewer), and then you can sell your product on the backend.

If you’re promoting affiliate products, then ask the vendor if you can interview him or her to create a Lead Magnet.

For example:

  • An interview with a fishing expert, which reveals three tips for catching trophy trout.
  • An interview with a panel of weight-loss experts, including a nutritionist, a personal trainer, and a doctor.
  • An interview with a professional copywriter to share insider tips and tricks for writing great copy.
  • An interview with a veterinarian to learn to identify common signs of cat illness or pain.

An alternative would be to take the “top 10 most frequently asked questions” on a topic related to your product and answer them yourself. Deliver the answers in either an .mp3 or .pdf.

10. Articles/Blog Posts/Reports

This is a popular Lead Magnet, simply because it’s easy for most people to create an article or report or ebook, convert it to the .pdf format, and offer it for free in exchange for an email address.

TIP: You can take a chapter or two out of an existing paid product to use as your Lead Magnet. Then sell the full product on the backend.

For example:

  • How to Choose Running Shoes That Won’t Break the Bank or Your Body
  • Five Secrets for Lowering Your Golf Score
  • What Dieticians Do When They Want to Lose 10 Pounds
  • How to Quickly and Easily Set Up a Secure WordPress Blog

The Fastest Way To Build A List Of Targeted Prospects Without Paying For Traffic Up Front

As Frank Kern says on his website’s home page (screen shot below), “The Most Dependable And Consistent Way To Generate Wealth Is To Turn Advertising Into Profit.”

Frank Kern Home Page

This is so true, and if you can develop an offer that allows you to generate a large number of leads while breaking even or make a small profit on the front-end, you have the opportunity to create an extremely profitable business by monetising the back-end.

For many small businesses, the problem is coming up with an advertising campaign that can do that after factoring in all of your customer acquisition costs.

One proven way (although obviously it’s not suited to every business) is to do a product launch.

Here’s why…

1. When you launch a new product or service using techniques such as email sequences and video, you create an enormous amount of buzz, authority, and social proof for you and your business.

And by turning the release of your product or service into an Event like this, you are also benefiting from a range of powerful mental triggers including:

  • Reciprocity
  • Anticipation
  • Proof
  • Community
  • Interaction and conversation
  • Scarcity

2. By recruiting JV partners and affiliates to send you traffic, you only pay a commission for sales after your affiliates have made them. You usually don’t pay for all the leads you generate (more on this below).

Of course you’ll have to do some preliminary testing to make sure your launch is going to convert for your affiliates. This is where a Seed Launch and an Internal Launch will set the scene for a profitable JV or partner launch.

A Seed Launch only requires a very small email database to succeed, and allows you to get paid to create an information product that contains the exact training and insights the people in your market want to buy (because they helped you to create it).

And an Internal Launch lets you create your pre-launch content, develop a killer offer, and test your systems in a low risk environment (your prospects and customers will be more forgiving of minor mistakes you might make).

Once you’ve developed your product and tested your systems using your existing email database of prospects and customers,, you can confidently roll out your JV launch with selected partners.

3. A product launch allows you to do a massive list-build of targeted prospects who can buy from you again in the future.

Your JV partners all mail their email lists and send their subscribers to your optin page so you can send your pre-launch content to their people.

You get to keep this list of prospects after the launch is over, and that means you can go from a few hundred or a few thousand people on your personal list, to potentially tens or hundreds of thousands of people in a very short period of time.

Here’s an example from a recent launch of how Peter Diamandis generated over $430,000 in sales, 46,000 new leads, and 18,350 books sold (here’s a link to the article).

Product Launch Sales Funnel

Want some proof that this list building technique works?

In Jeff’s recent PLF launch, the JV leaderboard for the lead generation contest was dominated by people who had ALL recently completed launches of their own…

In fact SIX of the top 11 people on Jeff’s JV Leaderboard had recently launched their own products, and are now using the lists they built during those launches to participate in and dominate a completely different launch for somebody else’s product.

How cool is that?

Can you imagine doing this for yourself?

If you’d like to learn more about doing a launch for your product or service that sells a bunch of stuff while building a list of targeted prospects you can sell to later, you can do that here.

If you have any questions, let me know in the comments below.

Cheers,

Rocky Tapscott

The JV Launch – Leverage Your Work With The Biggest Product Launch Of All

The Joint Venture (or JV) Launch is the pinnacle of applying Jeff Walker’s Product Launch Formula because it allows you to leverage all of the work you’ve done on your Seed launch and your Internal launch, and multiply your results using partners who are paid for results.

The JV Launch lets you tap into the audiences of your partners to generate a huge windfall of sales, and grow your list exponentially in the process. That’s because you could be putting your launch content in front of thousands or tens of thousands potential customers.

Yes you pay an affiliate commissions to your partners, but the great thing is you only pay them AFTER they’ve made sales for you, AND you get to keep every subscriber, even those who didn’t purchase this time.

Then you can promote other products and services to your new subscribers, so you can make a fortune on the backend.

How A Use A Product Launch For Traditional Brick And Mortar Business

A lot of people who sell physical products or services ask me how on earth they could possibly do a Product Launch Formula style launch if:

  1. Their business has been around for a while and there’s nothing new to ‘launch’
  2. Their product or service isn’t new and they have no plans to upgrade it
  3. They don’t have the budget to include a bunch of bonuses with their offer

If this is your problem, the secret is to create what Jeff calls a Crushing Offer by adding one or more of these –

  • A ‘Premium’ version of your product or service that includes additional features the standard version doesn’t
  • A package of digital guides, videos, White Papers, reports, cheat sheets, mind maps or checklists that show your customers how to get more out of your product or service
  • Discount coupons for additional services you provide that enhance or complement the main product people are purchasing
  • Discount coupons and special offers from OTHER merchants in related fields that give your customers a chance to get a discount or extra services, AND let the other merchants acquire a new customer at break even or even a small profit

These types of bonuses make your prospect’s buying decision much easier, which can increase your conversion rate (and your revenues).

Let’s look at a quick example

Say you are a Wedding Gown supplier and you’d like to run a launch to generate a burst of sales during your slow season.

You could approach all of the businesses on the list below and ask them to give you coupons for discounted/free stuff in exchange for you reciprocating and helping them to promote their products and services to your customers as well:

  • Artificial Flowers
  • Beauty Therapists
  • Bomboniere
  • Bridal Accessories
  • Bridal Expos
  • Bridal Gown Boutiques
  • Bridal Lingerie
  • Bridal Shoes
  • Bridesmaids Gowns
  • Cake Designers
  • Celebrants
  • Ceremony Music
  • Ceremony Venues
  • Clubs for Receptions
  • Gown Designers
  • Disc Jockeys
  • Dried Flowers
  • Entertainment Agents
  • Florists
  • Function Centres
  • Grooms Fashion
  • Grooms Shoes
  • Hairdressers
  • Hens and Bucks Parties
  • Hire Equipment Suppliers
  • Honeymoon Destinations
  • Hotels
  • Caterers
  • Jewellers
  • Live Entertainers
  • Make Up Artists
  • Master of Ceremonies
  • Photo Booths
  • Photographers
  • Reception Centres
  • Resorts
  • Restaurants
  • Stationary Suppliers
  • Wedding Transport and Limos
  • Travel Agents
  • Wedding Videographers
  • Wedding Stylists

As you can see, there are plenty of different businesses you could approach to work with.

Oh, and ALL of these people could also be your Launch Joint Venture partners.

That means they could send your pre-launch content to their email subscribers and share it on their social media pages, and you could pay them a referral fee for each wedding gown you sell.

AND EVERY business on this list could do the same thing with all of the other merchants on the list.

You are only limited by your ability to work collaboratively and create win-win deals with your fellow business owners…

You could run a product launch like this 3 or 4 times a year, and help your Joint Venture partner’s businesses by promoting their products and services to your prospects and customers during the other months.

The more I think about this, the more excited I get about the whole product launch thing for brick and mortar businesses…

And one final tip: Remember, it IS possible to create a simple product you can use as a valuable bonus in 60 minutes or less, especially if you use audio, do an interview or start with Private Label Rights material.

Here are some examples:

You sell fishing rods. As a bonus, you can offer a report called “The Secrets of Catching Trophy-Winning Barramundi.”

You sell an Italian cookbook (either a physical or digital version). As a bonus, you toss in “Italian Cooking Made Easy, Volume 2.”

The benefit of offering a digital bonus alongside a physical product or service is that you end up creating a “hybrid” product, and the perceived value of your offer becomes much greater than if you just sell the ‘thing’ on it’s own.

If you’d like to learn more about using a product launch for your traditional or brick and mortar business, so you can grow the sales and profits and increase your business’s value, you can do that here.

Rocky
