How To Leverage Your Product Launch List To Double Your Profits

One of the biggest benefits you’ll get from running a Launch based on the Product Launch Formula process is the growth in email list as you go through the pre-launch and launch process.

This works out especially well if you use a JV Launch where you have other people send you their prospects in exchange for a referral fee when somebody they sent buys your product.

Now having built your list with a launch, one of the keys to leveraging this asset is to continue to put popular offers in front of your audience after your launch is complete. It’s usually best if you sell your own products and services because these tend to put the most gross profit in your pocket.

But not everybody on your list will buy your stuff (in fact probably only 10% of them will) but those people are always buying other products and services related to what you sell. So why not find out what else they are buying and let them buy it from you instead of somebody else?

And the great thing about promoting great products as an affiliate is that anything you earn is 100% profit. The merchant takes and processes the order, looks after customer support, manages any refunds, and does all of the backend stuff required to make the sale.

Then they send you a cheque or pay you via Paypal. Pretty cool gig.

The thing is you can’t just run over to ClickBank or some other affiliate network, grab any old product to promote, and expect an avalanche for sales and commissions. If you want to make your affiliate sales “P.O.P.,” then check out this simple formula:

Pick the Right Product

A little research upfront will save you frustration down the road. That’s why you’ll want to follow these steps and tips when deciding what to promote…

Choose Something Popular

Affiliate sites like ClickBank let you specifically choose popular products that are selling well, so be sure to do your research and choose an in-demand offer.

Review the Product Yourself

Even if the product sells well and gets good reviews, read and use it yourself to be sure it’s something you’ll be proud to promote. The best products and services to promote are those you use and love personally. Things you can talk about honestly and be happy promoting.

Research the Vendor

If you’re unfamiliar with the seller, search their name and business name in Google to be sure they have a good reputation in the niche. Avoid anyone with red flags such as poor customer service, poor quality products, not paying affiliates, using black hat marketing and so on. It’s your reputation on the line here. Be careful to protect it and always work in your customer’s interests.

Check the Sales Page

Now you need to take a look at the sales page. First, check that it looks professional and is well-written. You might also ask the vendor what sort of conversion rate it’s getting.

Secondly, be sure there aren’t sales leaks or attempts at commission hijacking. These are any unnecessary links or promos that are likely to dampen conversions.

For example, if a popup window appears that offers a discount if someone clicks a link, check if that link still rewards you (the affiliate).

Another example: if there is a one-time offer or other upsell/cross-sell, be sure your affiliate link doesn’t get stripped if people take advantage of these offers.

Another example: check the sales page for payment options that don’t track and credit affiliates. Some people will do whatever the can to screw affiliates. We don’t want to work with these people.

If the product checks out, then move to the next step…

Offer a Valuable Bonus that Enhances the Product

If you look around your niche, you’ll notice that you certainly aren’t the only person who’s promoting this particular offer. In fact there may be dozens or even hundreds of others all promoting the same thing. And while the vast majority of these people aren’t really “true” competition (since most just throw a banner up on their site and call it day), you definitely will have SOME competition. If you want to generate sales, then you need to stand out from these other serious affiliates.

How? By offering a bonus to anyone who purchases the product through your affiliate link.

TIP: You should also work to stand out in a broader sense, by becoming a trusted “gatekeeper” who only promotes solid offers and who only sends the best content to your list.

The keys to a good bonus are as follows:

• It’s in-demand. As always, do your market research to see what your audience wants.

• It’s valuable. This should be something that your market would eagerly pay for (in some cases, it may even be something that you currently sell that you’re offering for free)

• It’s easy to deliver. Ideally, it should be a digital product that you can deliver to your customers automatically.

• It’s highly related to the main offer. This is the most important key to offering a bonus – it should be something that actually enhances the users’ experience of the product and makes the entire offer more valuable.

For example, if the main offer is an organic gardening guide, you might offer a pest-identification and eradication video. Or if the main offer is a dieting membership site, you might offer a free set of low-calorie cookbooks that fit in with the dieting guidelines being taught inside the site.

Your bonus could take a variety of forms, including membership site access, private group access, ebooks/reports, videos, audios, tools (such as worksheets, checklists, templates and similar), software/apps, and similar.

Note: High-value bonuses like personal coaching are likely to create plenty of conversions, but they may also create a time crunch for you. If you do decide to offer a service, then make sure you only promote it with high-ticket offers, and you may also limit the number available so that you don’t fall behind.

Now the final step of the “P.O.P.” formula…

Presell the Offer

It took me YEARS to truly understand how to pre-sell effectively, but when done correctly it is an extremely powerful strategy. Even if the product has a pretty good sales page that makes an irresistible offer, you still need to warm up your audience before they land on the sales page. You do this by telling your audience about the emotionally-charged benefits they will get when they order, as well as the additional benefits they will receive when they buy with your bonus included.

Here’s the key: don’t just send out one email and expect a bunch of sales. Instead, create a series of three to five emails promoting the affiliate offer.

For example, you might send out a series that looks like this:

Email 1: Introduces the offer, shares the benefits, and promotes your bonus. (Note: oftentimes product vendors will create “copy and paste” emails for you to use. You can go ahead and use these, but make sure you tweak them to personalise them to your voice and for your audience.)

Email 2: Share proof that the product works. Ideally you’ll share your own case study of how well the product works, the results you had, and how your life is better now than it was before.

Email 3: “Last call” email. If there is any sort of special offer going on (such as a Product Launch special), then send an email reminding people the special ends soon. Otherwise, you can use this email to announce your bonus might be going away (at least temporarily), or to cover benefits not mentioned elsewhere or answer frequently asked questions about the product.

TIP: For best results, analyze the product to determine what objections may have to purchasing the product, and then raise and answer those objections within this email. Whenever possible, offer a bonus that helps minimise or even better remove the objections people have for buying.

For example, let’s suppose you’re promoting a dieting guide. And let’s further suppose that one common objection is that busy parents say they don’t have time to cook healthy meals. You can offer a bonus of a cookbook with quick, easy and delicious meals. Not only does this cookbook make a great bonus on it’s own, it effectively handles the “too busy” objection.

Conclusion

Selling affiliate offers is a great way to make money with your newsletter or as stand-alone email campaigns a few times each month. Just be sure to use the sales POP system to pick high quality products, offer an awesome bonus, and presell the offers so people truly understand the benefits and RESULTS they can expect to get when they become a customer.

Of course having a growing email list of people who want to hear from you is a pre-requisite for promoting affiliates products in any sort of volume, and one of the best ways to build that email list is by doing a product Launch.

The Top 5 Ways To Launch A Product That People Will Pay For (When There’s So Much Free Stuff Available)

If you’re about to run a product launch, you’ve probably noticed that there is an awful lot of free content floating around. In fact, people are probably giving away for free the exact types of content you will be selling during your launch. Which begs the question, how do you create content that people pay for when they can get it elsewhere for free?

The answer, quite simply, is to offer something that no one else in your niche offers. That’s what you’re about to find out how to do inside these five surefire methods for creating content your customers will happily pay for…

Personalise Your Content

One of the best ways to create unique content that people will happily pay for is to personalise this content with your own experiences, case studies, examples, personal stories and so on. Even if someone else includes a case study or their personal experience in their content, it will be completely different than the ones you’re sharing – thus your content stands out as unique.

For example, let’s suppose you’re teaching people how to lose weight. Instead of just offering a step-by-step guide, tell the story of how, exactly, you personally lost 45 pounds and kept it off. Within your story, you can provide the steps your readers need to take in order to achieve similar results.

Create Unique Formulas

A second way to create something that customers will really value is to develop unique formulas and systems around how-to processes. So, instead of merely saying “Step 1 do this, Step 2 do that,” you create a related acronym where each letter corresponds to a step of the process.

For example, let’s suppose you’re creating a guide that shows people how to restore the upholstery of a classic car. If you can create a seven-step guide, then you can create those steps around the word R.E.S.T.O.R.E.

E.G., Step 1 (the “R”) might be “Remove the Existing Upholstery.” Step 2 (the “E”) might be “Evaluate the Seat Condition.” And you’d continue on with the rest of the letters in the word “restore” to complete your seven-step process.

Are there other people who will have similar guides out? Sure. But you’ll be the only one with a memorable and unique “formula” or “system” built around an acronym, which makes your content more valuable.

Next…

Solve a Specific Problem

This is actually a two-step process:

#1: Establish yourself as an expert for a very specific problem in your niche.
#2: Make sure the product you are launching completely solves that specific problem.

Once again, there are a lot of people in your niche who are putting out similar content. But if you can establish yourself as the “go to” guy or gal for a specific problem, then people will happily pay for your expertise.

For example, maybe you sell dog-training information. You might take one specific problem or issue – such as fear aggression – and establish yourself as the expert. If you want to carve out a smaller niche, you might even address fear aggression in small breeds. Smaller yet in order to really stand out from the competition? Try fear aggression in Pomeranians.

You then put out a lot of pre-launch content on that specific issue in order to establish your expertise. You brand yourself based around that issue. You develop top-of-mind awareness on the issue, so that you become the go-to person in your niche for that specific issue.

Part of this process involves blanketing your niche with content, which includes:

• Blogging on your own site
• Guest blogging on other people’s sites in your market
• Developing a strong presence on social media and posting helpful content regularly
• Creating videos and podcasts on the topic and sharing them widely
• Publishing lead magnets and maximising their distribution to as many people as possible
• Contributing in a helpful and non-promotional way to Facebook group discussions
• Co-authoring content with other experts which further establishes your expertise

And do similar things that position you as an expert so when someone searches for the specific problem in your niche, your name will start to show up repeatedly. And in time, you’ll become THE expert on the topic. When you then run a product launch for something on that same topic, buyers will flock to it because they know you’re the top expert in the field!

Here’s the next idea…

Add Value to the Content

Nearly everyone publishes how-to information as a way of positioning themselves as a subject matter expert. You can add value to your content by also providing the tools people need to make a process faster, easier, and/or better.

These tools can take the form of one or more of the following resources:

• Checklists
• Worksheets
• Mindmaps
• Cheat sheets
• Templates
• Swipe files
• Planners/calendars
• Recipes
• Gear or resource lists

And other resources like these.

For example, if you’re creating a resume-writing course, then you might offer tools such as resume template, a cover letter template, and a list of “power words” to include in the documents.

And finally…

Create Engaging, Readable Content

You can have some of the most useful content in the world, but people won’t even get around to reading it if the text is boring, poorly written and/or difficult to read. That’s why you want to be sure to create engaging, readable content. People value this sort of content more highly, meaning they’ll also be willing to pay for it.

To that end, keep these tips in mind:

Use simple language. Don’t try to impress anyone with big words or convoluted sentences, as that will make your content harder to read.

Make sure there is plenty of white space. For example, turn lists of items in a paragraph into a bulleted list, which makes it easier to read.

Engage readers with relevant stories. If you can engage their emotions and imagination with a story, you’ll keep them reading to the end.

Use curiosity to keep people reading. E.G., “In just a moment you’ll discover a writing device that virtually guarantees your readers will hang on your every word!”

Utilise a friendly, conversational tone. If it helps, imagine you’re writing to a good friend.

Now let’s wrap up this lesson…

Conclusion

It’s unlikely that you’re going to be able to create and launch a product on a topic that no one has ever talked about before. In fact, you’re likely to find that not only are there a lot of paid products on the topic you want to write about, but there is a lot of free content available too. Don’t let this discourage you.

People will happily pay for the product you are launching using the PLF strategy or something else if they can easily see a clear advantage in doing so – and if you apply the five ideas you just learned, you’ll provide that advantage and get more people happy to pay for your content!

How To Save Time (And Your Sanity) During Your Next Product Launch

If you are preparing to run a Product Launch Formula style launch, there’s no doubt you have a LOT of work in front of you.

But one way you can save yourself HOURS of time, and probably your sanity in the process, is to outsource some of the less-critical tasks to a Virtual Assistant or somebody on Upwork or Fiverr.com

  • Create a Bot for automated followup on Facebook Messenger to help deliver your prelaunch content and offer
  • Design your launch website, a blog or other online content to complement the sales process
  • Install and customise a WordPress script or undertaking other types of website programming
  • Create the interior design for an Ebook or other PDF documents
  • Create and edit a pre-selling video and upload it to the major video sharing sites
  • Create a slide-share presentation highlighting the benefits of product or service, or for another purpose including the training content of your program, or sharable content you can give to affiliates to promote your launch
  • Turn the slide-share presentation created above into a video or series of videos for distribution as free or paid content
  • Analyse website data and optimise sales pages or website content for better conversions
  • Optimise a blog for readability, SEO and conversion of visitors into subscribers and customers
  • Do comprehensive research for a market and turn that research into a Report to be used to sell a range of products, services or other for projects
  • Do research into competitors products and services to find a ‘hole’ in the market, an unfilled need others are not targeting, an entirely new market, or a new way of approaching a market to increase sales
  • Design a logo that embodies the essence of what your business stands for and promotes positive feelings in your target audience
  • Create a slogan that shares your businesses’ core philosophy in a powerful and memorable way
  • Create an advertisement to be used online or offline and post the ad where targeted prospects will see it
  • Launch a Facebook ad campaign to drive traffic, subscribers and sales
  • Design an eye-catching banner graphic
  • Find targeted websites to deploy the banner graphic above to generate website traffic, subscribers and sales
  • Create a rebrandable report your business can use to generate leads, to use in list-swap campaigns, or to give to other businesses so they can earn referral fees or affiliate income by giving it away to their subscribers
  • Do voiceover narration of blog posts, Guides and Reports to turn them into video content
  • Research social media hashtags to find out what is trending in the news, then create topical content to attract visitors based on those topics
  • Grow social media followers by posting valuable content, or by building and moderating a targeted Facebook Group
  • Launch and manage a contest on Facebook, Instagram or another online platform where prospects congregate
  • Edit or proof read all of your content to ensure it’s accuracy and readability
  • Edit long video content into smaller segments and upload these shorter segments to video sharing sites
  • Tweak Private Label Rights content to make it unique and use it for website content, free or paid reports and guides, or complete products for sale or to give away as subscriber and customer rewards or bonuses
  • Transcribe multimedia content into either long form transcripts or video captions

  • Turn a digital book into a physical book and list it on Amazon.com. Ensure the physical book offers purchasers to ability to subscribe to an email list to receive bonus materials and offers for related products and services

  • Develop an app, a piece of software or a plugin to automate some of the grunt work involved in getting a result from your product or service
  • Set up an ecommerce platform so your business can make sales and take payments online during your launch
  • Do a full website or sales system audit and create a report containing recommended changes
  • Create guest articles around tightly focused topics of interest to prospects and customers
  • Research and find guest blogging opportunities for the articles above and submit them to sites that accept guest blog posts
  • Find and schedule guest interviews on Podcasts, Webinars and in other media that targets the businesses prospects and clients
  • Find and/or recruit Joint Venture partners
  • Create training materials and re-brandable content for the Joint Venture partners above to help them maximise their sales with the least amount of effort
  • Plan an overall marketing strategy for the launch and beyond, and then they can help you implement the strategy and tactics
  • Set up a membership site for customers who purchase during your launch to access their content
  • Stock the membership site with content and create the follow-up system to allow you to contact members regularly with unannounced bonuses building more trust and loyalty, and offers so you can increase backend sales
  • Plan your launch sales funnel, then implement and test each element of the funnel to maximise conversions
  • Research the market and provide keyword research your business can use to increase your reach using Google Adwords or organic SEO traffic
  • Setup and manage a Google Adwords campaign to drive launch traffic and sales
  • Participate in relevant online and offline communities as an advocate for your business
  • Provide reporting on a range of functions and strategies for you to analyse so you can make informed decisions
  • Create the documentation required for a help desk so customers can get their questions answered promptly and correctly
  • Be the customer support people for the help desk above
  • Once your launch is over, create a Udemy course using a cut down version and promote it on and off the platform

So there you have it, a whole range of tasks you could consider delegating to a VirtualAssistant to free you up to do the critical strategic things that only you can do.

How To Use A Quick Product Launch To Generate Immediate Sales For A Product That Doesn’t Exist Yet

The Backstory

I’ve been an active technical analyst, trader and investor for the last 30 years, and over that time I’ve developed a reliable system for finding the start of fast moving trends in stocks, commodities and other markets.

I’d thought about putting what I’ve learned into a high ticket program for years, but never got around to it.

Anyhow a few weeks ago I came across Katrina Ruth and really liked what she was sharing with her audience. I liked her message so much I grabbed one of her products to give to my daughter because I thought it might help her to grow her business.

My daughter went through just some of the program and it lit a fire in her that is beautiful to behold. She took what she learned and created a Facebook Page and a Podcast called Mindset Mastery, started interviewing awesome people, and is now kicking arse in the market she loves which is helping people share their stories through video.

After watching my daughter move ahead in leaps and bounds, I finally decided to get off my backside and do something about creating a high ticket course.

Step 1 – Test The Demand For The Product

I decided to use a Seed Launch to create the content because I wanted to have as much feedback on what people in my target marketed actually wanted instead of just creating something and hoping they would buy it.

One of the great things about using a Seed Launch is you don’t have to create a program if there’s no demand for it. Jeff teaches to send out an email he calls a ‘Shot across the bow’ and see if anybody is interested.

If there’s no interest, you don’t go ahead with the product which saves you weeks or months of unnecessary work. If there is interest, you survey the people who responded and ask them what they want to learn.

For the first ‘Shot across the bow’ I made a single Facebook post in a group I started a couple of years ago with around 2,700 members.

I have been posting great info for members every few days over those couple of years but have never offered them anything to buy or promoted an affiliate product to them, mainly because most of the stuff in the trading and investing market is overpriced crap and I really want to look after members by actually helping them.

About 50 people are quite active, but I know I get hundreds of other people reading the posts but not liking or commenting.

On the 5th of June, I made a single Facebook post modelled on a Dean Jackson email message announcing a new program I was thinking of creating.

I wanted to keep this first group small and manageable so I didn’t email any of the 1,000 members I have on my email database who have registered for my free members’ training. I thought I’d get to them next time 🙂

Step 2 – Demand? Check! Let’s Create An Offer

The response honestly surprised me. A whole bunch of people left Facebook, opened their email and send me a message with Livermore in the subject line.

Watching those emails come in was so exciting because I knew I had a potential winner on my hands.

If nobody had asked for more information I would have killed the idea right there and saved myself a bunch of time, energy and disappointment.

But with so many people raising their hands after just ONE Facebook post, it looked like the project might be a winner.

With that in mind, when people emailed asking for more information, I sent them this message, again inspired by Dean Jackson:

Great to hear from you, thankyou for getting back to me and letting me know what you’ve been up to, and that you are interested in my new Pilot Program.

This is not going to be ‘The complete course on understanding Gann and Elliott Wave analysis.’ 

Most courses like that focus on the esoteric and long term forecasting side of what Gann and Elliott taught because it’s seen as ‘sexy’. The trouble is for most people all of that ‘woo woo’ stuff is too difficult to get your head around or impractical to use in the real world.

Instead this will be the 95/5 version where we’ll only cover the most powerful, most practical things you need to succeed. 

The ’certain habits’ Jessie was talking about.

Here’s some of what we’re going to work on:

1. We’ll start by making sure you have a complete understanding of how to determine the position of any market so you will know with a high degree of confidence IF a valid trend is unfolding, and if so where you are positioned within that trend. 

You will know how to find and participate in fast moving trends (good) while staying out when markets are not trending (bad). There are some other cool techniques I’ll share with you that will put your understanding of trends on steroids.

2. Next, we’ll dig into understanding TIME. As Gann said Time is more important than price, and understanding how to Time markets is the factor I get more questions about than anything else. You’ll be able to know in advance where market turning points are likely to occur.

The old adage ‘The trend is your friend’ is true… unless the trend is about to end. I’ll show you how I was able to confidently enter the AUD/USD long at the March 2020 low, buy the May 15th 2020 low in the EUR/USD, sell at the February 2020 high in the SPX and buy at the March 2020 low. Plus there will be many more examples.

3. We will look at how Gann’s work dovetails with Elliott Wave analysis so you’ll be able to accurately enter Elliott Wave 3’s and 5’s when they are first starting. Knowing when a market is in Wave 3 or 5 allows us to use leverage and/or compound with additional positions with safety and low capital exposure. I have never discussed compounding before. It is extremely powerful…

4. We’ll focus on developing your own personal action plan, something you are completely comfortable with, which is the key to being able to act on signals and hold a position in a trending market… This ability alone will be a big breakthrough for you.

5. Ongoing video training updates, Special Reports and email coaching lessons covering opportunities and special situations as they develop in the markets.

Any one of these things can move the needle immediately for you, and my experience is that ONE of these is going to resonate with you and stand out as the BIG opportunity for you specifically… so we’ll be able to spend more time on that one with you.

That was it. I’ve pasted the first page of Paypal results in a screen shot below. You can see the refund for my test sale, and a transfer to my Australian bank account in $A. There’s a tiny Aweber commission there as well.

Note that all of the sales came in over a short period and I was able to start the program straight away. This simple email sequence took just a few days to implement, confirmed there was demand for a product that didn’t exist yet.

Next Steps

So where to next?

Well, just to confirm I really was onto something, I used the same strategy again in the same group and I sent a brief invitation email based on the wording of the Facebook post above to my small email database and got similar results.

The beauty of this strategy is it’s totally under the radar. It’s what Frank Kern calls an ‘Invisible Offer’ because only the people who reply back to you get to see the offer. 

To everybody else it’s not seen as a pitch because all they see is the invitation.

So you can continue sending your newsletter and other pure content emails like you already do, but I recommend you try this once a month and see what happens.

It costs you nothing by way of marketing costs, and I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the results.

The keys are having a targeted audience and an irresistible offer that appeals to them.

How do you know what they want? Ask people on your email list about their biggest problems and frustrations.

You could send them to a one-question survey and ask them something like:

When it comes to [your market – e.g. finding profitable stock market trends], what is your biggest problem or frustration right now?

The answers people give you will tell you what you need to focus on to make your product or service more desirable, and the solutions to focus on in your marketing.

Another opportunity the success of this campaign gives me is to go to other people in my market and offer to do a JV with them to use the campaign to promote their product or service to their prospects and customers.

The beauty of this simple campaign is it does what Dean Jackson calls ‘Make your invisible prospects visible” because only people who are interested put their hands up to ask you for more information.

If you make a relevant, irresistible offer to those people, a lot of them are likely to take you up on it.

The next step is to package up all of the content the Seed Launch members helped me create into a high value course and offer it using an Evergreen Launch through affiliate partners for $997.

I hope this gives you some ideas for how to use a Facebook post and a couple of emails to generate nearly A$10,000 for a Seed Launch in 4 days from a standing start.

How To Launch A New Training Program Into A Global Business

A subscriber emailed a few days ago and asked for some ideas on how she could use Product launch Formula to grow her business which involves showing businesses a very specific way to find money that is owing to them they didn’t know was rightfully theirs.

I told her I thought she was providing a highly ethical and valuable service and she deserved a lot of praise for helping people out in the way she was.

While she could use the PLF process to launch her own business because there is so much demand for this type of thing after COVID-19 has shut down or damaged so many formerly profitable businesses, I suggested she might also consider running a Seed Launch for a course showing other people how to do what she is doing to help many more businesses than she could ever reach on her own.

If she packaged her knowledge and systems into a program that helped other people start a business doing the same thing, she could charge an upfront fee for the training and systems, plus an annual licensing fee for the continued use of the materials she created.

A program like this could have modules that might include:

  • Her secret sources for finding potential clients
  • Marketing materials to get those clients to raise their hands and say they wanted help
  • The step by step process for finding the money owed
  • Agreements and documents to make sure the student gets paid
  • A private Slack or Facebook group where she shares help, ideas and success stories with other members
  • Live calls or Zoom meetings every so often to update members on the latest strategies, share field reports from other members, and answer any questions
  • Anything else that helps members to get the results she is currently getting

Her lead magnet for building an email prospect list could be a PDF guide that takes people through the ‘what’ of the service she provides and highlights the huge opportunity for them to make good money with low overheads while helping other people.

Then the paid program could offer the step-by-step ‘how’ so people can start a business inexpensively, work from home, and supplement their income or even replace it.

If she offered a limited number of licenses in each city you might end up with a feeding frenzy of customers who don’t want to miss out.

Once she had some successful licensees, she could offer County or State Distributer Licenses to entrepreneurs who already have a client base, or who know how to generate leads and help and manage the people who purchase the licenses.

These Distributers would be responsible for everything in their area and would have to comply with the terms and conditions she developed so the results their clients get are consistent.

She could sell these Distributer Licenses for 10 – 30 or more times the price of her course and charge ongoing annual royalties on them as well. The Distributers would get the majority of each up-front fee and the ongoing royalties from each licensee, and they would share part of that income with her each month.

Eventually she might want to create Master Licenses for large sectors of the population and charge 100 to 1000 times the price of the basic course.

She could hire commission sales people to sell the Distributer and Master license all over the country and eventually the world, and give the salespeople a commission and override on all sales they make.

So as you can see, a simple idea for a course can be leveraged into a national or global business while helping thousands of business owners by providing a much needed and highly valuable service.

I hope this gives you some ideas for where you could take your course after you use Jeff Walker’s Product Launch Formula process to launch it.

5 Ways To Use Bonuses To Increase Your Product Launch Profits

While using the Product Launch Formula process to launch (or re-launch) your product or service can give you an unfair advantage, it’s not always understood how much adding strategically designed bonuses to your core offer can increase the desirability of your offer.

Not only can great bonuses increase your sales, they can also reduce refunds and retain customers. Of course you can’t just throw any old thing into the mix and expect magical results. But if you create bonuses that people in your market will see as desirable, you can supercharge your product launch results

Here are 5 ways you can use bonuses to grow your sales and profits…

1. Increase Conversions on Your Launch Offer

The most basic way to use bonuses is to offer them for free as part of your product launch offer. This helps boost conversions by giving your customers even more incentive to buy from you. This works particularly well when you offer a bonus that helps your customers optimise or enhance the usefulness of your main offer.

For example, if the core offer is a copywriting course, then you might offer a set of sales page templates as a bonus.

2. To Gain And Retain Members

If you are launching a membership site or some kind of program involving continuity (a SAAS for example) another great way to use bonuses is to retain members and keep them coming back again and again. Here are the keys to this method:

    1. Space out multiple bonuses over a period of time. For example, if you have a fixed-term membership that lasts for 12 months, you might give members the first bonus immediately, followed by a new bonus every two or three months. You can also give your best bonus as a “graduation bonus” for those who stay with you through the entire training.
    2. Be sure your bonuses are highly attractive. This strategy only works if your bonuses are valuable and something that your members really want. That means you have to do some market research so you have a better understanding of what your audience wants. So for example, if your market is already purchasing a certain type of product, then giving them a product similar to what people are buying, or even a better version, would be a great bonus.

3. To Increase ‘Stick’ And Reduce Refunds

There are two ways to increase the ‘stick rate’ of your offer and reduce refunds with bonuses:

  1. Offer a surprise bonus. Give buyers an unannounced bonus on the download page or in a followup email. This can help you to exceed your customers’ expectations, which leads to higher customer satisfaction and lower refund rages.
  2. Offer a delayed bonus. The idea here is to announce the bonus, but let customers know the bonus will be sent to them after a certain time period (which should be after the refund period has expired).

Here’s another way to use bonuses to grow your business…

4. Motivate Your Affiliates To Promote Your Product Launch

Want to see a quick boost to your sales? Then offer your affiliates an awesome bonus for good performance. In most cases, using cash as a bonus will get you the best results. Most of the big launches have huge cash prizes for the top couple of affiliates, and nice prizes for the rest of the top 10.

Here are three popular ways to use this method:

  1. Create an affiliate contest and offer a cash bonus to the top five or ten affiliates. You might also create a random drawing where everyone who makes at least two sales during the contest period is eligible to win.
  2. Create an lead generation contest and offer a smaller cash bonus to the top five people. Your goal with this strategy is to encourage your affiliates to work overtime helping you grow your email list. As you know, a product launch is one of the best ways to quickly grow your list. Incentivising your affiliates to help you with this can have a massive ROI when you consider the future sales you’ll make to the prospects referred to you.
  3. Offer a bonus every month for any affiliate who crosses a specific sales threshold. For example, if an affiliate makes at least 25 sales, they’ll either get a flat cash bonus or an increase in their commission rate.

And finally…

5. Add Value to Your Future Affiliate Offers

One of the biggest assets you’ll end up with from using the Product Launch Formula process to do a JV Launch is the email list you build from all the traffic your affiliate partners send you.

And once you’ve finished your launch, you can then return the favor by promoting suitable products and services as one of their launch affiliates. Of course when you participate in launches, you have competition from dozens if not hundreds of other people who’re all promoting the same offer.

The key is to make sure your bonus is valuable, highly related to the main offer, and something that your prospects really want. If your bonuses meet these qualifications, then you are very likely to see increased sales and profits.

Take Advantage Of This Product Launch Formula Bonus

 So What’s Product Launch Formula All About?

Product Launch Formula is a coaching program that was originally created by Jeff Walker in around 2006, after he realized there had to be a better way to sell products and services than was currently being used at the time.

He created Product Launch Formula to help all kinds of businesses in increasing their sales and profits by turning typical run-of-the-mill product promotions into ‘Events’ that generated buzz and social proof around the product being promoted. In the program teaches you how to use what he calls his ‘sideways salesletter’ to boost conventional conversion rates of around 1-2% to 5% – 10 and in some cases, even more.

The Big Idea taught in the PLF training is to share a series of educational pieces of content that actually help people, instead of simply bombarding prospects with self serving pitches. That old way of selling just doesn’t work that well any more because while people love to buy things, they are totally sick of being sold stuff. At the end of your educational content, you make an offer at the end of this process that helps people go a lot further than what they learned in the free content.

There are lots of nuences to doing a profitable launch of course, and Jeff covers all of them as he takes you through the Product Launch Formula training. So who’s PLF for? Honestly, there probably aren’t a lot of businesses that couldn’t use at least some of the strategies Jeff teaches. And many businesses could use the entire system over and over again throughout the year to really boost sales.

Even service businesses and tradespeople such as accountants, plumbers and carpet cleaners can use variations of what Jeff calls his Seed Launch and Quick Launch strategy to build buzz around their businesses, and educate people about why they are the best choice for potential customers.

There are a lot of things to like about Product Launch Formula.

  • In Module 1, Jeff teaches you the Product Launch Formula Core Strategies and Tactics, creating your Launch Foundation, and gives you an Introduction to Joint Ventures
  • Module 2 teaches you The Quick Launch and Pre-Launch, covers some common launch mistakes, and goes over Jeff’s Business Launch Formula for building a 6 or 7 figure business from your first internal launch
  • Module 3 shows you how to Create Your Launch Story, how to develop your Prelaunch Content, and looks at The Seed Launch, which is where you do a small launch to just a small list to test your system and generate an initial burst of sales. You can use the money you make from the Seed Launch to fund your product development, or purchase more stock. Then you are ready to roll out an Internal launch and even a big JV Launch knowing what kind of results you can expect to get for your partners
  • In Module 4, Product Launch Formula looks at Launch List Secrets, Planning Out Your Launch Content, and Joint Ventures in detail. He also includes a bunch of extra goodies like a lesson on how to look after your health during a launch, and a case study interview with John Gallagher which is very enlightening
  • Module 5 takes you through The Actual Launch Process, what an Affiliate Launch looks like, and the eCommerce Launch. Jeff also covers a lot more of the most important launch details to help you make your events as profitable as possible.
  • Module 6 rounds out the program by covering the most profitable Product Launch Formula, which is The Evergreen Launch. An Evergreen Launch allows you to build your launch system once, and then run it continuously on autopilot, so you can make money from the launch content you created over and over again.
  • You also get monthly live PLF Coaching Calls where Jeff personally answers all of your questions, and the much anticipated PLF Live Event, where you can network with other Product Launch Formula owners, create joint ventures and partnerships, and get new ideas on how to make more money in your business.

I’ve been a Product Launch Formula owner since version 2, which I think was around 2008, and the first internal launch I did (a test to a few hundred people) earned me double the price I’d invested in the product. Since then I have used what I learned over and over again, it’s still works just as these days as it did then.

And as you’ll see once you are a PLF owner, Jeff looks after us. He’s always sending us cool stuff, and he always gives existing customers free access to the latest version of Product Launch Formula whenever he makes an update.

His customer service has always been first class, and my questions have been answered quickly by intelligent people who can actually help you the first time.

What We Didn’t Like About Product Launch Formula

This wouldn’t be a very good Product Launch Formula Review if I didn’t point out the things I don’t like. Most obviously, this program ain’t cheap. That means that lots of people who could really benefit from the training will be locked out.

That’s not to say PLF isn’t worth the money. I easily paid for the course twice over within a few weeks with my first launch, so it’s certainly great value and the stuff you’ll learn you will have to use and profit from forever.

And here’s a big tip. If you wait to order until mid-way through the launch, you’ll most likely get an option for a multi-payment plan, so you can spread the payments out over the next few months.

The payment plan ends up being a little more expensive, but it’s much more affordable because you can start using what you learn right away, and you should be able to make some product sales before you have paid the full amount.

Another downside to PLF is there’s a LOT of information to go through, and that means it might be easy for some people to get overwhelmed. Even though Jeff ‘drips’ the content out to you over a few weeks, you have to stay on top of it or you’ll run the risk of fall behind.

What that can be a problem, it’s not really a deal breaker for most people, because you have lifetime access to the members area so you can go through everything at your own pace.

That means if you aren’t really serious about USING what you are going to learn from Product Launch Formula, it’s probably best to save your money. But if you are ready to start using a better approach to marketing and making sales, one that could make you 5 or 10+ times your initial investment fairly quickly, then PLF could be perfect for you.

And one final thing. Jeff takes the program off the market after each launch, so you only have one opportunity each year to get your hands on it. While that does make PLF exclusive, it sucks for people who tend to take too long to decide and miss out.

So if you miss out this time, it will be probably another year before the doors are opened up again. And that could literally cost you thousands of dollars in profits foregone if you decide to wait it out.

Overall Thoughts On Jeff Walker’s Product Launch Formula

All in all, Product Launch Formula is a first class training program that totally delivers on it’s promise of helping virtually any business owner who USES what he or she learns to increase their sales. Since you can’t just go out and buy Product Launch Formula most of the time, it’s probably a good idea to get it now.
